supposedly he pulled this during several shows (including the 2 chicago ones i was at in a 5 week span)...and it did make him look like an asshole. stopping the show and completely undressing some poor guy- there had to be a better, more professional way to do this. and why was this a problem time and again? almost makes me think it was part of the show...but why?? to make dave look like a bad ass? it made him look like a primadonna asshole. i don't get it.

That language is inappropriate and that behaviour intolerable.
I am thinking it's part of his schtick. The other band members are just of
the "let Dave make a dick out of himself, we'll just play and let the
audience decide who is the fuckwit here, and always has been"

it's "schtick" like that that i would think would wear real thin, real quick with the halen brothers. we all know it doesn't take much for them to turn on a singer. it's so retarded if it is a planned thing and if it isn't, take care of the problem in a more professional manner instead of throwing a hissy fit onstage night after night. if the blowers are an issue show after show, just fire the guy responsible. or make sure the blowers are shut off before you hit the stage, so it's not an issue.

I think it's real. It could be a case where there's already tension between Roth and some of the crew, and those crew members are deliberately ignoring Roth's wishes. Roth is acting like this during the show because he wants to nip it in the bud before the issue (whatever it is) fucks up the entire performance. To wait until the show ends would be to the detriment of the audience, who paid good money to see a top notch concert.

i agree and you're probably right...but it makes him look like a dick/diva...and you would think it would get on the halen brothers' nerves, stopping the show to throw a pseudo-hissy. either way, it doesn't make much sense. i could see maybe it happening once- bad night, it happens but he has to know this is seen each time on youtube and what a schmuck it makes him look like. how could someone think this makes himself look cool or bad ass?? it's a head scratcher, to me.

He has made millions off of talented artist.
