Dave really needs to tighten up his voice

I've heard some clips from the rehearsals, and Dave's voice sounds
shot. I know he's 57, but he can do so much better. If I were him,
I'd get a vocal coach... and I'd also lose the headset.

The headset needs to go, and whilst the VH boys are in exceptional form Dave
does look and sound like the weakest link.

Still, they're cranking out some decent new (or revitalised) music and
that's quite something.

I agree the Forum show he sounded shaky. And I agree the headset needs
to go - too boy band-ish.

I also didn't agree with the Forum setlist. Way too VH2 heavy. Where
are the Fair Warning tunes? They could also play something better than
STW off the new album.

I was kind of hoping that they would dig a little deeper for this
tour. Obviously, they have to play Hot For Teacher, Panama and Jump,
but how mind blowing would it be if they do Me Wise Magic, In A Simple
Rhyme and Dirty Movies (which I don't think they've *ever* performed
live)?

After seeing this video, I don't mind the headset so much anymore.
These guys are bringing in some pretty good cameras -

it's not the voice that needs tightening up so much, it's the bumhole.
christ the guy is so clearly not a heterosexual it's beyond belief
that in this day and age he doesn't just admit to being a homosexual.
it really is no longer an issue - unless it's seeping from his
butthole of course!

Ha! With Dave back in VH, performing to packed arenas and releasing
top 5 records, Hagar fans have resorted to questioning his sexual
preference or digging up concert reviews from 10 years ago.

It's all they have left.

LOL

Enjoy Chickenfoot, playing at a school cafeteria near you!

when i saw the '07 tour, i was most worried about roth but roth ended up surprising/impressing me the most. ed and al were still really rusty, as they were on the '04 tour. dave sounds pretty damn remarkable on the new album. he must have gone to a vocal coach before the '07 tour or something. he's sounding a lot better since before '07.

I don't know, Dave doesn't sound any worse than he did in the 80s. The
man never really could sing but I'd take him every day over Sammy.

I agree about the headset, especially when Dave doesn't move like he
used to.
